Lalit-Mrunmayi to appear in a Marathi-Japanese film
Bombay : Marathi language history and Japanese cinematography come together for the film ‘To, Ti Aur Fuji’. Actor Lalit Prabhakar and actress Mrinmayi Godboli will once again be seen together as the hero-heroine of the film, which will be shot in India and Japan.
The screenplay of the film ‘To, Ti and Fuji’ is written by writer Irawati Karnik and directed by Mohit Takalkar, a famous Marathi and Hindi theater director, who made his directorial debut with the film ‘Medium Spicy’. The general story of the film is that of two lovers deeply in love with each other, the bitterness of their relationship after marriage and their reunion in Japan after seven years of separation.

Mohit Takalkar narrates the story to Shiladitya Bora, which is set in Japan, and Bora took over production of the film with the help of Telugu actor Rakesh Vare. Bora also explained that he decided to produce the film in Marathi as regional films currently get more response than Hindi.
“To, Ti Aur Fuji” will be filmed in Pune, Kolad, Tokyo, Kyoto and Mount Fuji. The directors also said that two different cinematographers would be given the responsibility to shoot in two different countries. Lalit Prabhakar and Mrinmayi Godbole earlier ‘Ch. And Ch. Ms. They reunited in the movie ‘Kaan’. Now, this Marathi-Japanese film from this pair is going to be released on February 17, 2023.
